Joshua A. Smith is the original founder and a Financial Advisor with Genesis Wealth Advisors. In his role, Joshua is specializes in asset management, analytical research, and stock/bond management. Joshua has more than 15 years experience within the insurance and financial industry. He has previous experience with Morgan Stanley, M&T Bank, and Nationwide Securities. Joshua was previously a Presidential Group Associate Agent with Nationwide Insurance. He uses his broad knowledge of investments and wealth management issues to create customized strategies for individual and institutional clients. Joshua earned a BA in Criminal Justice from Alvernia University. He currently holds FINRA Series 7 - General Securities Representative Exam, Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law Exam, as well as; Property, Casualty, Health, Accident, Life and Allied Lines of Insurance Licenses.
In his free time, Joshua enjoys spending time with friends, family, wife Esther and sons Luke and Aaron. He also enjoys hiking, camping, travel, and staying active within the community. He has an honorable discharge with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, where he served as a Military Intelligence Specialist. Joshua also serves as a volunteer firefighter for Gouldsboro Fire Company.
